Recurna (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates recurna.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Recurna, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: When you sign in via magic link, we collect your email address. We do not store passwords.

Payment information: Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. We do not receive or store your card details. We receive confirmation of purchase and your email address from Lemon Squeezy.

Usage data: We collect anonymised page view and usage data to understand how the product is used. This includes pages visited and general interaction patterns — no personally identifiable data is included in analytics.

Report data: When you generate a report, we store your selected audience, filters, and the resulting report content in our database, associated with your account.

Survey responses: If you complete the optional post-report survey, your responses are stored and linked to your report.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and operate the Recurna service
  • To send your magic link for authentication
  • To process your payment and fulfil your report
  • To improve the quality of reports and the product
  • To communicate service-related updates (no marketing emails without consent)

3. Data Sources

Recurna analyses publicly available posts from Reddit communities. We do not store or display personally identifiable information from Reddit users. All quotes displayed in reports are publicly accessible content from public subreddits.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following service providers who help us operate the product:

  • Supabase — authentication and database hosting
  • Lemon Squeezy — payment processing
  • Vercel — hosting and deployment
  • Anthropic — AI processing for report generation (report content only, no personal data)

Each provider is bound by their own privacy policy and data processing agreements.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and report data for as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and associated data, contact us at the email below and we will process your request within 30 days.

6. Cookies

We use session cookies required for authentication (managed by Supabase Auth). We use minimal analytics that do not set third-party tracking cookies. We do not use advertising cookies.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict processing of your data
  • Data portability (receive your data in a structured format)

8. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including row-level security on our database, encrypted connections (TLS), and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take commercially reasonable precautions.

9. Children

Recurna is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of Recurna after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
